PM Boronov tasks Health and Emergency Ministries to analyze risks in case of projected second coronavirus wave

AKIPRESS.COM - The epidemiological situation in the regions should be under strict control, Prime Ministre Kubatbek Boronov said at the meeting of the national operative team for coronavirus containment today.
"The region governors bear personal responsibility for epidemiological situation in their jurisdictions. The line agencies should continue intensive work on fulfillment of earlier set tasks in fight against spread of coronavirus infection. The efforts should be stepped up to prevent fatalities," the Prime Minister said.
A new clinical protocol was outlined during the meeting, which is currently developed by a group of specialists.
The Prime Minister said the practices of the countries that beat coronavirus outbreak should be taken into account.
PM Boronov also ordered to intensify work on procurement of necessary medical equipment.
"Each region should strengthen control over supply of computer tomographs and X-ray machines. Besides, air recirculators should be installed in the hospitals where patients with coronavirus infection are treated," the Prime Minister said.
The Prime Minister ordered the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Emergency Situations to analyze possible risks for the projected second wave of coronavirus infection.
