AKIPRESS.COM - Natural disasters became more frequent due to unstable weather conditions, Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov told a press briefing today.
He reminded the mudflows hit Jumgal district, flooding 40 houses and 1 meteorological station. The caused damage is being estimated.
The mudflows also occurred in Naryn on June 3 (51 houses were flooded), in Naryn district on June 5 (4 ha of agricultural fields were flooded), in Arslanbob on July 16, in Leilek district on May 2. The heavy rain in Batken district on July 14 led to flooding.
"Mudflows occurred today in Toguz-Toro. Deputy Prime Minister Akram Madumarov visited the area. He gave respective tasks. The Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working there," Boronov said.
