AKIPRESS.COM - A medical and obstetrician facility (called as FAP) in Boz-Bulun village, Ak-Suu district, Issyk-Kul region is in dilapidated condition.
The facility was built in 1971 and is still used.
"The FAP building was declared unsafe 3 years ago. The estimation of costs for construction of a new medical facility was prepared. We asked funding from charity foundations and Issyk-Kul Development Fund. However, due to shortage of money medical workers have to work in this unsafe building," Kara-Jal rural municipality governor Sagyndyk Barakanov said.
The FAP building is as unsafe in Jany-Aryk village.
"We just need to find money for these FAPs, we have ready documentation for construction of new buildings," the governor added.
