Kyrgyz Health Ministry denies Minister Abdikarimov's resignation

AKIPRESS.COM - There is no information that Sabirjan Abdikarimov has left the post of Minister of Health, the National Health Promotion and Mass Communications Center reported. Some media reported earlier that Abdikarimov stepped down as Health Minister.
The Center has denied these reports and said the Minister is still on sick leave.
The Compulsory Health Insurance Fund told AKIpress that the reports alleging that Fund Chair Elnura Boronbaeva was appointed as Health Minister do not correspond to reality either.
On July 10, the Ministry of Health announced that the Health Minister was diagnosed with community-acquired pneumonia and received treatment at the National Infectious Diseases Hospital in Bishkek.
