Russian specialists donated PCR tests and reagents to Health Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - The Russian delegation handed over PCR tests and reagents for 50,000 studies to the Ministry of Health, the government reports. Vice Prime Minister Aida Ismailova met with Deputy Director for clinical and analytical work of the federal government institution of science of the central research institute of epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor, Professor Natalya Pshenichnaya and a group of Russian doctors led by Deputy Minister of Health of Bashkortostan Yevgeny Kustov.
A group of Russian doctors, including resuscitators, infectious disease specialists, pulmonologists, otolaryngologists, will visit the regions and take part in the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection, as well as will hold webinars for doctors from all regions.
Ismailova noted that the support of the Russian side is evidence of friendly and fraternal relations between the peoples of the two countries and expressed gratitude to Russian doctors, the Russian Ministry of Health and the Russian Embassy for their assistance in the fight against COVID-19.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Health Madamin Karatayev, Russian Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Nikolai Udovichenko, heads of medical institutions of the country.
