AKIPRESS.COM - The epidemiological situation in Kyrgyzstan today remains difficult, said Deputy Prime Minister Aida Ismailova during an official meeting with a delegation of Russian medical workers headed by Deputy Minister of Health of Bashkortostan Yevgeny Kustov. "We have over 30,000 infected people. Unfortunately, there are also fatalities," she said.
Ismailova added that the statistics rose sharply due to the consolidation of data on confirmed cases of coronavirus and data on cases of community-acquired pneumonia.
"In this regard, the number of deaths has also increased. We are going through a difficult time just like in the whole world, including in Russia. Thank you for helping us at this time," she said.
