Kyrgyzstan has 4,000 oxygen concentrators

AKIPRESS.COM - There are 3,041 oxygen concentrators in state medical institutions, Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said on July 21. According to the Ministry of Health the country needed an additional 2,250 oxygen concentrators.
"The private companies and private entrepreneurs import oxygen concentrators. According to our estimates, there are more than 4,000 concentrators in the country now," he said.
According to him, the delivery of other 400 oxygen concentrators is expecter, another 500 devices should arrive from China.
"Concentrators are used more often than ventilators. An oxygen concentrator should be installed in each rural health posts," he added.
