Vacant buildings to be repurposed as hospitals in regions of Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The vacant buildings in the regions will be repurposed as hospitals. This information came from the meeting of the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus containment. Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said that the governors in the regions along with the State Agency for Architecture must immediately arrange repair of such buildings. Those buildings should be repurposed as hospitals for about 100 beds within a month, including 25-30 beds should be given to intensive care units, he added.
The issue of preparing additional beds in the regions was discussed.
The Prime Minister noted the insufficient work of the governors of Issyk-Kul and Jalal-Abad regions on this issue.
