53yo infectious disease doctor has died from COVID-19 in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - A 53-year-old infectious disease doctor of National Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital Shainazar Zakirov has died from coronavirus infection, the Ministry of Health said.
He has worked in the National Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital since 2012 and until his last days.
In March 2020, he was dispatched to the southern regions of Kyrgyzstan to aid local medical professionals in coronavirus fight. Since June 2020, he worked in the Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship Hospital in Bishkek treating patients with coronavirus infection.
This is the 8th lethal case from coronavirus infection among medical workers.
