Isfana airport to open after rehabilitation

AKIPRESS.COM - Rehabilitation of Isfana airport in Leilek district, Batken report has been finished.
Rehabilitation started on November 25, 2019 and included reconstruction of the runway, taxiway, airport apron.
A new airport terminal was built. It has new gates, security scanners, luggage carousel, nursing room.
Isfana airport was launched into operation in 1974. The last major repair was carried out in 2007.
The airport serves domestic flights in daytime.
