Kyrgyzstan gets over 2,500 oxygen concentrators for 2 weeks

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan received more than 2,500 oxygen concentrators for 2 weeks, both in humanitarian assistance and purchased from public budget funds, Deputy Prime Minister Aida Ismailova said.
The oxygen concentrators were distributed among medical facilities and hospitals of the country depending upon their needs.
The needs are updated daily.
Particularly, 157 concentrators were dispatched to Batken region, 371 to Jalal-Abad region, 402 to Issyk-Kul region, 99 to Naryn region, 340 to Osh region, 75 to Talas region, 270 to Chui region, 396 to Bishkek, 177 to Osh, national hospitals - 140.
50 concentrators remain in reserve.
"The government will procure not only concentrators, but other equipment needed at hospitals. Hospitals and new facilities are opened in all districts, regions of the country lately. All necessary equipment and supplies will be purchased from budget and donor funds," she added.
