6,428 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Russia

AKIPRESS.COM - 6,428 new COVID-19 cases are confirmed in Russia on July 16, the emergency response team reports.
These cases are confirmed in 85 regions of the country. 1,549 (24.1%) are contacts of confirmed cases and asymptomatic cases.
The total number of confirmed cases is 752,797 (+0.9%).
According to Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, more than 24 million laboratory tests were made for coronavirus, including 298,000 in the previous 24 hours. 531,692 patients recovered. 273,267 patients are being treated.
167 people died from coronavirus as of July 16. Most lethal cases are registered in Moscow - 24 and in St. Petersburg - 22.
The total of lethal cases from COVID-19 in Russia reached 11,937.
