Kyrgyz border guards foil attempt of smuggling of oxygen concentrators, medicines to Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Three citizens of Kyrgyzstan were held on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border, who attempted to smuggle oxygen concentrators and some medicines to Kazakhstan, the State Border Service said.
They were heading to Kazakhstan in 3 vehicles. During inspection of the cars border guards found 4 oxygen concentrators, antiviral drug Ingavirin and anticoagualant Xarelto.
The Kyrgyz government issued a resolution in March banning export of medical equipment and medicines in connection with coronavirus pandemic.
The investigation was launched.
