Government to purchase 500-1000 more oxygen concentrators

AKIPRESS.COM - The government continues to procure essential medicines and oxygen concentrators, Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said at the meeting of the nationwide operative team for Cvovid-19 countering on July 15. The issues on concluding agreements with a number of countries on the supply of a list of medicines and medical equipment to the republic are being considered.
"A batch of 200 oxygen concentrators has recently arrived in the country. Another 500-1000 concentrators will be purchased. 400 concentrators will arrive as humanitarian aid in the near future. Medicines will be distributed between regions. The relevant government bodies need to intensify work on providing medicines and equipment, as well as on creating conditions for pharmaceutical companies to provide pharmacies in cities and regions. All regions of the country will be provided with medicines," Boronov said.
