AKIPRESS.COM - People who remained in the container quarantine center Urtasaray in Tashkent region were sent home, quarantine camp residents report.
The call center of the quarantine center confirmed this information.
Social media users reported that people rioted in the biggest quarantine center in Uzbekistan called Urtasaray on July 8-9.
The riot started in 15 block and spread to other blocks on July 9.
Videos which were spread in social media depicted people in quarantine that tried to open iron gates and demanded to let them go.
Urtasaray residents told that some of them had remained in the quarantine center for 30 days instead of 14 days. They could not go home and did not know why.
Other video showed women who said they'd arrived there on June 20. Officials did not provide food for the last 24 hours: women and their little children stayed hungry.
On July 10, Urtasaray residents reported that people from 15 and 23 blocks of the quarantine center were sent home.
