Pneumonia outbreak in Chui region: 462 people hospitalized

AKIPRESS.COM - Pneumonia oubtreak is reported in Chui region. 462 people with pneumonia were taken to hospitals.
498 beds were prepared in 8 medical facilities of the region for patients with community-acquired pneumonia, chief of staff of Chui region administration Gulnura Mambetisaeva said.
109 beds were prepared in 4 hospitals for patients with COVID-19. 83 patients with COVID-19 stay in hospitals, she said.
"Medical workers are supplied with personal protective gear. As of July 3, there is a stock of personal protective equipment for 2-3 months. The stock is replenished regularly," the official said.
More hospital beds are prepared for patients with COVID-19 and pneumonia. 404 beds more will be prepared in near time, she added.
