Construction of new Bishkek landfill due in 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - Construction of the new landfill in Bishkek is expected to be finished this year as part of the improvement of solid domestic waste management, the mayor's press office said. 35 special vehicles, 5,426 waste containers, 300 plastic waste bins were purchased.
958 waste container platforms were rehabilitated.
A contractor is being selected for construction of a waste sorting factory. This factory is expected to sort 320,000 tons of domestic solid waste a year.
GPS control will be installed on waste collection trucks of Tazalyk cleaning enterprise.
The waste collection fees administration system will be digitized.
