Medical workers received compensations for 259 million soms in 3 months

AKIPRESS.COM - The nation-wide operative team for coronavirus prevention receives many questions about underpayment of salaries to health workers, said Deputy Prime Minister Aida Ismailova on July 3.
According to her, 377.5 million soms were allocated for the payment of compenations:
- 6,438 medical workers received compensation in the amount of 37.7 million soms in March;
- 10,061 health workers received 111.6 million soms in April;
- 8,891 health workers received 109.8 million soms in May.
The health workers were paid 259.1 million soms in 3 months.
Ismailova noted these premiums were transferred to the deposit accounts of health organizations.
