About 30% of Bishkek's physicians are sick - Health Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - Local doctors prescribe drugs, but citizens are looking for doctors to get the treatment. First-aid posts need to be opened in schools, rural health posts, a citizen adressed to Deputy Health Minister Madamin Karatayev.
"We have a personnel issue, there is a shortage of nursing staff in Bishkek and Osh. About 30% of Bishkek's doctors are infected. They older physicians to work are not involved in work for safery reasons," Karatayev said on July 1.
Karatayev agreed with proposal to open first-aid posts in schools, kindergartens and rural health posts and added that citizens may turn to Family Medicine Centers, too.
