Bishkek local council support 744 million soms loan for payment teachers' wages

AKIPRESS.COM - The extraordinary session of the Bishkek local council unanimously supported the receipt of loan for teachers's salary in Bishkek.
744 million soms are envisaged in the state budget as an interest-free loan for Bishkek.
According to the Ministry of Finance, such measures were taken due to the emergency situation in the country with the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the lack of revenue in the local budget, taking into account the urgency of the issue related to teachers' salaries.
A loan in the amount of 744 million is envisaged in amendments to the state budget for 2020 and the forecast for 2021-2022.
