President Jeenbekov signs amendments reducing election threshold for political parties in parliamentary elections to 7%

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sooronbai Jeenbekov today signed the amendments to the constitutional law on presidential and parliamentary elections.
The amendments were passed by the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan on June 18 for the purpose of reduction of election threshold for political parties to gain seats in Parliament from 9% to 7%.
The amendments enter into force since the date of official publication.
