President Jeenbekov signs amendments to law on payment of compensations to doctors

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed the amendments to the law on status of the medical worker, the president's press service reported. The amendments were passed by the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan on May 21.
The draft amendments were developed in order to improve the legislation and are aimed at ensuring and protecting the rights of workers of state and municipal health organizations, including in case of emergency or the state of emergency.
The draft law envisages statutory regulation of the rights of medical workers of state and municipal health organizations during the introduction of an emergency or state of emergency. The bill also establishes guarantees for state life and health insurance of a medical worker of state and municipal health organizations, the statement says.
