Total of COVID-19 cases in Uzbekistan nears 8,000

AKIPRESS.COM - 135 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Uzbekistan last night, the Ministry of Health said.
These cases included 108 in the quarantine center in Tashkent region (all imported cases), 14 in Kashkadarya region (contacts of confirmed cases), 11 in Tashkent, 2 in Syrdarya region.
The total number of confirmed cases reached 7,948.
89 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery yesterday. The total number of recoveries reached 5,329.
2,597 patients remain in hospitals, 6 of them are in critical condition.
40,120 people are quarantined at home, 23,432 stay in quarantine centers.
