Japanese government renders technical assistance to anti-drug trafficking service of Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Government of Japan provided technical assistance to the anti-drug trafficking service of Kyrgyzstan, the National Security Committee said on June 26. Japanese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Sigeki Maeda handed over 10 cars and equipment worth 19,572,000 soms acquired in the framework of the UNODC project "Strengthening the State Service on Drug Control of the Kyrgyz Republic."
Japanese government has allocated $2.75 million for this project.
