Coronavirus patients to be hospitalized in Chui region in case of Bishkek hospitals' overload - PM Boronov

AKIPRESS.COM - The issues of hospitalization of patients to medical institutions are acute, there are many complaints on coronavirus hotline that the ambulances are arriving late, said Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov at the meeting of nation-wide operative team for coronavirus prevention on June 26.
"The work to increase wards in Bishkek, Chui region and Osh is ongoing, it is necessary to prepare additional wards. The coronavirus patients will be hospitalized in the Chui region hospitals in case of overload of hospitals in Bishkek," he said.
Boronov noted that it is necessary to quickly complete the reconstruction of the buildings at the Semetey observation point, as well as to redesign and prepare the Ak-Keme hotel for patients.
According to the Health Minister Sabirjan Abdikarimov, currently, 540 additional wards have been prepared in Bishkek for patients.
