Stabilization fund establishment this year not possible: Finance Minister

AKIPRESS.COM - The situation with COVID-19 has shown that Kyrgyzstan needs a stabilization fund, Finance Minister Baktygul Jeenbayeva said.
But this year its creation is not planned.
"Unfortunately, this year it is not possible to set up one. If it gets worse, it will be necessary to make additional expenditures. In the coming years and further, we will definitely need to create stabilization funds, as life has shown that we are very vulnerable to emergencies," she said.
