Delay in payment of compensations to police forces, servicemen explained with technical procedures

AKIPRESS.COM - There are some technical procedures, Finance Minister Baktygul Jeenbayeva told a press conference today when asked why police officers and servicemen were not paid supplements to their wages for work during the state of emergency.
"You should understand that the list are long. They were submitted from all over the country. The people on the lists and the sums to be paid were checked. All procedures in the government were completed. As soon as the Ministry of Finance will get the respective document, the supplements will be paid out. There is money in the budget for that purpose, we will pay out," the Finance Minister said.
The Finance Minister said the lists were submitted by the organizations employing servicemen, they made the decisions who and in what amount compensations should be paid, she added.
