Finance Ministry in talks on raising additional foreign assistance

AKIPRESS.COM - Finance Minister Baktygul Jeenbayeva said the negotiations on raising more foreign assistance, including for budget support, are under way. At present, Kyrgyzstan is negotiating with the European Union and Asian Development Banks to attract additional funds, she said.
"If the situation in the country gets worse, these funds will be needed," she said.
The subsidies earmarked for state enterprises will be paid in the same amount as approved by the parliament, she said.
