Newly issued credits increased by 7.2% in the first quarter of 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - The size of newly issued credits in the first quarter of 2020 increased by 7.2% year on year amounting to 28.5 billion soms, according to the report of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic on monetary policy for the 1st quarter of 2020. The amount of credits issued in national currency increased by 8.9% to 20.6 billion soms.
The size of credits in foreign currency increased by 3.1% to 7.9 billion soms.
Newly issued credits in national currency increased mainly due to the increase in the volume of loans issued for more than 3 years by 29.8% compared to the first quarter of 2019.
