Government preparing for worsening coronavirus situation in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov urged to ensure fully preparedness for a possible worsening of the epidemiological situation of coronavirus infection during the regular session of nation-wide operative team for coronavirus prevention on June 20.
"The number of coronavirus patients is increasing daily, in particular the acute situation observed in Bishkek, Osh and Chui region. The heads of the regions have personal responsibility for the epidemiological situation. The work to control the situation in the regions is not fully conducted. All instructions indicated on the decision of the Security Council must be conducted efficiently, in full and on time," he said.
According to Boronov, each state body and each region should implement a set of preparatory measures for the autumn-winter period, this includes the readiness of medical institutions to increase the number of cases and the work of various areas of economic activity.
