Tashkent to host CIS Business Initiatives Week in September

AKIPRESS.COM - The Business Initiatives Week of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) is planned to be held in Tashkent on September 9-13, 2020, reports the city administration. The Uzbek government endorsed the plan for preparation of the event.
During the Week, tourism and economic forums for CIS countries will be arranged. There will also be exhibitions of export potential, food and agricultural products, folk and decorative art.
Uzbekistan holds chairmanship of CIS this year. The meeting of the Council of Heads of CIS governments was held in late May. The next meeting will be held in Tashkent on November 6.
