Export of paper, cardboard and paper products increased by 5.2 times in 4 months

AKIPRESS.COM - The foreign trade turnover of the Kyrgyz Republic in January-April 2020 amounted to $1,753.9 million and decreased by 21.1%, according to the National Statistics Committee. Exports increased by 2.7%, while imports decreased by 31.4%.
The increase in exports came due to growth in gold export by 328%, the share of which in the total volume of exports if Kyrgyzstan increased from 41.1 to 53.1 percentage points.
Export of paper, cardboard and paper products increased by 5.2 times, milk and dairy products - by 1.7 times, fruit and nuts - by 1.6 times.
