Opening of Torugart checkpoint on Kyrgyz-Chinese border being worked upon

AKIPRESS.COM - Acting Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov told MPs when the Kyrgyz-Chinese borders will reopen for cargo transportation. The Irkeshtam checkpoint is now functional for cargo transportation. "A certain algorithm of actions was developed under today's conditions," he added.
Opening of Torugart checkpoint is currently being worked upon, he noted.
"The border will soon open, there are some questions about the algorithm of actions for today. The Chinese side offers its own terms, we offer our own. I think the issue will be resolved soon," Boronov said.
