AKIPRESS.COM - Azamat Dyikanbayev was appointed Director of the State Communications Agency under the State Information Technology and Communications Committee, sources told Tazabek. Dyikanbayev has previously served as CEO of the Transcom state institution under the State Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.
He was reportedly appointed to a new role on June 15.
The former director of the agency, Natalia Chernogubova, was detained on 12 May 2020.
The leadership of the State Communications Agency in collusion with one of the mobile operators and employees of the State Committee of Technologies and Communications illegally re-registered the license of an operator, according to the authorities.
