Talas town mayor's office employee caught on bribes

AKIPRESS.COM - Chief specialist of the Talas city hall employee was caught red-handed when receiving bribes by the anti-corruption service of the National Security Committee on June 4, the GKNB said Tuesday.
The detainee is suspected of extortion of money from a private entrepreneur in exchange for the extension of the municipal land lease.
Criminal probe into extortion was launched, investigation is under way.
