Man dies in Tajikistan after self-immolation

AKIPRESS.COM - The man died after self-immoation outside the financial department in Kulob, Tajikistan on June 6, Akhbor reported.
The man died in the local hospital as 95% of his body surface was burnt. He was in the intensive care since June 6.
The 62-year-old stabbed himself with knife, then he poured himself with flammable liquid and set himself on fire. This way the man protested against the financial department, which allegedly did not pay to him for the bread delivered to kindegartens. The local authorities denied this accusation, but admitted that the bakery of the man delivered bread to kindergartens for 57,000 somoni in 2018 and for 142,000 somoni in 2019.
The financial department chief denied the man had any deals with the department.
The investigation was launched.
