EU to provide ?80,000 to Tajikistan to support families hit by mudflows

AKIPRESS.COM - European Union will provide Tajikistan €80,000 as humanitarian aid for people who suffered from floods in mid-May, Avesta reported.
Tajikistan's Red Crescent Society will distribute assistance among people hit by floods.
Around 1,700 people whose homes were damaged during mudflows in Bokhtar and Khuroson districts of Khatlon region will receive assistance.
They will get kitchen and home appliances, mattresses, bed sheets, blankets.
The families whose homes were destroyed or severely damaged will also receive money.
