Epidemiological situation in Kyrgyzstan is still tense: Health Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - The quarantine remains in effect in Osh and Bishkek cities, according to the Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev.
"Health Ministry continues inspecting the situation in Bishkek. Epidemiological measures are being taken. We make changes to our algorithm of actions and develop recommendations for strengthening control based on the analysis done. The specialists work in Naryn, where epidemiological situation remains unfavorable," he said.
The state of emergency was in effect in Bishkek from March 25 until May 10. The quarantine was then declared in the capital since May 11.
An emergency regime was introduced in Naryn town and some areas of the Naryn region from April 15 due to the coronavirus outbreak.
