Participants of TV project get president?s gifts on Day for Protection of Children

AKIPRESS.COM - 20 orphans from all regions of Kyrgyzstan, who participated in Meerim TV project run by the public service broadcaster KTRK, received gifts from President Sooronbai Jeenbekov on the occasion of the International Day for Protection of Children.
Gifts such as laptops were presented by the region governors, the president's press service said.
Another 5 participants have been invited to the meeting with President Sooronbai Jeenbekov today, where they will also receive gifts.
The President's decree on declaration of 2020 as the year of regional development, country's digitalization and children's support stipulates social protection of orphan children and children in difficult life situation as priority in state policy.
