President Tokayev orders to provide pay increase for medical professionals

AKIPRESS.COM - President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev ordered to provide pay increase for medical professionals at the meeting of the national council for public trust, where healthcare and education issues were discussed.
Salaries should be increased since this year and by 2023 salaries should exceed the average salary size 2.5 times, the President said.
"Coronavirus pandemic has become a big challenge for the healthcare systems all over the world. This epidemic unveiled problems of shortage of medical professionals in the country caused by low wages, low prestife of this profession and unprotected rights of medical workers," President Tokayev said.
