Bishkek local councilor asks local administrations to tighten control over mask wearing

AKIPRESS.COM - Many people in Bishkek do not wear face masks in public places, Bishkek local council member Adisa Imangazieva said at the meeting of the commission for social issues on May 26.
The local councilor has asked local administrations of Bishkek and patrol police to tighten mask checks.
"The number of Covid-19 cases is growing in Bishkek. Many people do not wear masks, salespersons in stores do not wear masks either. Some people even do not believe coronavirus eixsts," the councilor said.
377 Covid-19 cases were confirmed in Bishkek by May 26. The Ministry of Health recommends wearing face masks in public places.
