Total area of sown crops in 2020 is 1.2 million ha in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Agriculture is the only sector of the economy in Kyrgyzstan which is seeing timely and uninterrupted spring sowing campaign going on despite the coronavirus pandemic, the Ministry of Economy said. The total area of lands sown with agricultural crops in the country for 2020 harvest is 1,219,000 hectares, which is 2.3 thousand hectares more than in 2019.
The growth rate will be mainly ensured by growth in production of cereals by 2.6% and vegetables by 2.2%.
