Agreement on fight against illegal migration between Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan enters into effect

AKIPRESS.COM - The agreement between the governments of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan on cooperation in fight against illegal migration entered into force on May 22, the Foreign Ministry said.
The agreement was signed on April 15, 2019 during the state visit of President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev to Uzbekistan.
The agreement envisions cooperation between the countries in fight against illegal migration, detection and registration of those staying in both countries illegally.
The countries will exchange information and experience, carry out research, joint preventive actions.
