FIFA plans to build sports and health center in Issyk-Kul

AKIPRESS.COM - FIFA plans to build a sports complex in Issyk-Kul region, according to information voiced during the region's governor Akylbek Osmonaliyev's trip to Kara-Oi village in Issyk-Kul region.
He checked out the land plot where the FIFA Sports Complex will be built. The FIFA expressed interest in the construction of a sports ground and a health center, according to the statement.
The land plot of 17.72 hectares located on the south-western side of Kara-Oi village is an agricultural land belonging to the state. A government decision has already been made to transform this land plot from agricultural to "industrial, transport, communication, defense and other category".
FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation will finance the construction of a sports and health center. The organizations will also cover the land transformation costs.
