Labor Ministry, UN team up in eradication of violence against women, girls in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Labor and Social Development in cooperation with UN started the long-term initiative aimed at eradication of all forms of violence against women and girls.
The initiatives aimed to prevent or address domestic violence cases amid pandemic were carried out since start of the program.
The 111 and 112 hotlines forward calls for consultations with psychologists, family therapy psychologists.
The mobile groups will be set up to provide immediate assistance to people suffered from domestic violence during emergency situations and restriction of rights of citizens to move.
Safe places were created for women where psychological and legal assistance is provided.
