Some Bishkek citizens refuse from being tested for COVID-19, authorities warn about risk of spread of virus

AKIPRESS.COM - The risk of spread of COVID-19 infection persists in Bishkek, vice mayor Tatiana Kuznetsova said.
More than 765 people remain under home quarantine. 1,065 people stay at observation points.
By May 16, 400 households were tested. Rapid tests of 961 people were made. All of them had negative result.
"However, some citizens refuse from rapid tests for coronavirus. During work of mobile teams, 113 households refused to be tested. 99 apartments and houses were closed," the vice mayor said.
"We do ask citizens to cooperate with medical workers and epidemiologists. Mobile teams have necessary personal protective equipment. They have been trained and set up for protection of health of every person in the city," vice mayor Tatiana Kuznetsova stated.
