Health Ministry preparing for second wave of coronavirus epidemic in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Health Ministry will prepare for the second wave of coronavirus epidemic, which is expected in fall, said the Health Minister Sabirjan Abdikarimov at the parliament meeting.
MP Ainura Askarova wondered how preparations for the second wave of the coronavirus epidemic are ongoing.
"The funds will be allocated to strengthen infection departments, all laboratories will be provided with consumables, we will purchase individual protection equipment. The programs have been developed and tenders are being held, we are preparing for the fall," Abdikarimov replied.
The minister said that laboratories will be opened in each region. 16 hospitals in all regional centers of the country is expected to be reconstructed.
