AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan reported two more coronavirus-linked deaths.
Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev said May 15 that an 84-year-old woman died in Naryn region, and a 55-year-old man died at a Bishkek hospital.
"The 84-year-old woman in Naryn region sought medical aid on May 13 due to respiratory failure. She was admitted to intensive care in serious condition. She was tested for coronavirus, the post mortem analysis came positive. It was decided to consider this case as coronavirus-linked death," he said.
She was buried in accordance with the rules for burying coronavirus victims on May 14. Epidemiological investigation in the village where she lived is under way.
The 55-year-old man was hospitalized on April 28 and died on May 15.
The total number of deaths in Kyrgyzstan as of May 15 is 14.
