MP suggests celebration of 30th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's independence in Batken

AKIPRESS.COM - Every year the Independence Day is celebrated on August 31 in Bishkek, MP Janar Akaev (SDPK) said in Parliament today.
The lawmaker suggested to celebrate the Independence Day in other towns of the country.
"Next yet the 30th anniversary may be celebrated in Batken, then in Issyk-Kul region, Naryn, Talas. We should start planning the celeberations of the Independence Day in other towns of the country now. If we start with Batken, we will boost internal tourism at the same time. People from other regions will travel to Batken. The delegation with the President, diplomatic corps would go there," MP Akaev suggested.
This would be a big economic contribution, since the roads would be repaired, social facilities would be built, he said.
It would be important also in terms of ideology, he added.
