AKIPRESS.COM - No new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Mongolia for the past five days, Director of the National Center for Communicable Disease (NCCD) Dulmaa Nyamkhuu said.
66 people tested negative for coronavirus on May 12. None of 12 drivers who entered Mongolia through Altanbulag checkpoint tested positive.
"We are preparing to receive students from Russia. People at high risk are still coming," he said.
The last 4 cases were imported, the total number of confirmed cases is now 42.
About 60% of all confirmed cases were imported from Russia. Patients are aged 11-60.
15 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, the rest of 27 infected are being treated at the National Center for Communicable Disease.
